Your hosts are a couple of émigrés from Vancouver who are now amateur hobby farmers. Over three years, our new gardens, trees, shrubs and plants of all shapes an sizes, our chickens, dog, cats, and our new community have filled our lives with abundance – which we enjoy sharing with guests.
Our 13 (mostly forested) acres are in the south and central crest of the island. Your room is adjacent to our home. It’s a nice large space with comfy bed, vaulted ceilings, piano, wood stove, lounging chairs & TV. (The dedicated washroom is through another door at the side of the house.) Enjoy our seasonal produce, fresh country eggs, lounging decks, gardens, ponds, forest paths, hot-tub.
Denman Island has so much to offer – nearby beaches, swimming lakes, trails, local crafts, vineyard, general store and bistro, and Hornby Island right next door.

This is a beautiful place to stay on Denman Island! It’s on a peaceful farm with chickens, an adorable dog, and bountiful gardens. The suite is lovely, with lots of space and a tall vaulted ceiling. There’s a well-equipped kitchenette with everything you need to prepare light meals. Brad and Heather are lovely hosts and really make you feel welcomed. They prepare the most delicious breakfasts each morning with as many local ingredients as possible, some even from the farm! The property is also well-located for exploring around the island. I would definitely stay again the next time I’m on Denman.
